However busy our lives become I believe our weekends should be savoured, filled with adventures, exploring or simply just pressing pause. This new feature is a chance for to me feed my love of travel, share my adventures and ways that help me pause and regain some balance. In the coming months I would love for people to contribute to this feature with their travels, city guides, girlie weekends, family adventures, ways to press pause and just be.
Have an idea for a Weekend Wanderings post? Do you think your business fits perfectly in this feature? Please get in touch by email or social media.
All that glitters is not gold, but it can update or change an outfit in an instant. With a love for stylish and well designed jewellery and a passion to support small independent businesses, I want this feature to share their gorgeous pieces alongside the bigger players. Knowing that I am not the only magpie amongst us be sure to share your own Magpie Moments on Instagram, using #MagpieMoments.
In The Bag
Statement or utilitarian, bags are a requirement for any adventure or simply everyday. With three daughters who seem to have inherited my need to have several bags I thought it would be fun to have a regular feature. In The Bag will be a chance for the girls and I to share bags and products that fit each features theme. Play along on Instagram with your own bags and contents using the #InTheBag hashtag.
Please do get in touch if you have a product to be featured in Magpie Moments and In The Bag.
Even though my work and family take up a lot of my time I do still dip my toes in to the freelance world. I have previously written my own blogs (see below), been editor for business blogs (including Les Enfants), contributed to many blogs (including Boden and The Party Times) and websites aswell as writing copy for numerous websites and publications. In recent months I have also written features for Synergy and hope to expand my academic writing alongside contributing to healthcare features.
So please do get in touch (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you like my writing style and think I could contribute to your magazine, newspaper, website or blog.
